There are forty benefits of this blessing, which are proven from authentic and credible Hadith. Due to a lack of space, only a few of them are being mentioned here. The person who recites the above Durood will be entitled to all the benefits, including the following:
v He will have two thousand salutations bestowed on him.
v Five thousand rewards will be entered into his book of deeds.
v Five thousand of his sins will be wiped away.
v Rasool Allah Sallallaho ‘Alaihi Wasallam will shake his hand on the Day of Judgement.
v On his forehead will be written that he is not a hypocrite.
v It will be written on his forehead that he is free from the fire of Hell.
